The multiple former Colombian world challenger, Miguel Marriaga, will be facing the Mexican-American contender, Joet González, next September 12, in the “La Burbuja” of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and in a fight that will be televised by ESPN. Colombian Miguel "El Escorpión" Marriaga has a streak of four consecutive victories, all by knockout, since he lost his last chance, in 2017, to the then super featherweight world champion of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), the Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko.
